NC 67 (Elm Street) Widening at US 21 Bus, Commerce Street to North Bridge

The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) plans to widen NC 67 (Elm Street) at US 21 Bus, Commerce Street in Elkin to North Bridge in Jonesville and to construct roundabouts at West Main Street and Elm Street, and Elm Street and North Bridge Street.

There are 12 parcels affected, and the DOT has budgeted $1.1 million. Right of way acquisition is expected to begin in October 2024 and construction in November 2026.
